West Putney

Our candidates for West Putney

Rev. Jim McKinney

I first joined the Labour Party in 1978, and have always felt strongly about justice and fairness for my community. As chair of the Roehampton Forum, I worked to ensure that there was pedestrian access to Richmond Park – an issue of great importance to me. I have also served on the board of the Wandsworth Community Empowerment Network, and I was active in heightening the awareness of mental health issues amongst BME groups. I feel passionately about working in my community to empower others, something I would take forward as a Councillor.

Yasin Inan

I manage a small business in Putney, and feel passionate about the welfare of my community.  I believe strongly in social justice, and putting local people’s interests first.

Susan Olech

Susan Olech works at Sainsbury's and is an active Shop Steward for the Trade Union Usdaw and has run campaigns against violence towards public facing workers and has had experience of settling disputes and negotiating through being a workplace Rep. She is a lifelong Wandsworth resident and is passionate about worker's rights and affordable housing for all.
